I’ve also been enjoying running, completing a half marathon in Crystal Palace in February, Brighton marathon in April and the South Downs trail half marathon in June. Here’s an update of the major changes/developments in the garden during June. We planted up the final bed in the new herbaceous border – a project we started in March – as well as finish planting into the long border which sits next to the walled area. As you might expect, April has seen lots of new growth in the garden and we’ve also had the landscaping team back who built us our new greenhouse base and wall. The greenhouse and coldframe is being installed towards the end of May so I’ll be sure to include it in next months video.

On the 20th of April we finally finished the wall which we started back in August 2017. Luckily for us the weather was fine over the Easter break which meant we were able to crack on and finish the beast! It feels great to look out on the garden and know that we never have to make another dry stone
